Delta Drops The Ball Again

I was flying out of Knoxville on Delta (it was my only choice) last week and Delta was up to their old tricks. First, they told me that my carry on was too large and had to be checked for planeside pickup. This despite the fact that it was well within the size guidelines and the flight was only half full. After arriving in Charlotte, my bag was nowhere to be found. The gate attendant told me that it had been sent on to portland (my final destination) and I could pick it up there. I asked for documentation and she said my sticker on my ticket was sufficient. Surprise-when I got to Portland they had no knowledge of my bag and they told me it was my responsibility to pick up the bag or file a claim in Charlotte. When I informed them that 1. A delta employee instructed me to pick up my luggage at my destination and 2.I could not file a claim because I only had 30 minutes between connections they literally laughed in my face and told me that no one at Delta would have told me that. After lawyering up, I finally managed to get Delta to accept responsibility, but the arrogance and contempt that this airline has for their customers (victims) still shines through.

Agreed Delta hates their customers and loves to show them. So you regularly attempt to carry all of your earthly possessions on board. You an your ilk are the main problem with air travel these days. Be a good lad, check your bags and then it does become Delta's responsibility. No sympathy.

DELTA took our money to fly us round trip to Florida and back...when we got to airport in Panama City, right away the flight that was scheduled to leave at 2:35 was reset for 4pm..and that flight was reset for 5pm..then 9pm..then 12 midnight..then who knows because by then we opted for a hotel...when we went to get our bags the told my husband that they were in Atlanta...being a big mouthed women I went back in and said "no way are they in Atlanta because they were put on the plane sitting on the tarmac that I have been watching for the last 10 hours...sorry we can give you a emergency bag with a tee shirt and SOME personal items...HELL NO..I WANT A VOUCHER TO PURCHASE A NEW SET OF CLOTHES,PERSONAL ITEMS AND GET A PHARMACY TO DELIVER EVERYONE OF MY 17 MEDS THAT I TAKE DAILY..and again being the big mouth that I am, they suddenly found our bags...I admit that they did get us a hotel..not anything on the scale that we always stay in...and they brought THE LOGIEST pizza to the gate...everybody just laughed when they tried to eat it,..I AM LACTOSE INTOLERANT ....I ask that they give me something else and was told, we have juicy juicy and crackers..I AM ALSO DIABETIC...so we sleep for 3 hrs. and go back to the airport..when we get to the check-in we were told that we were not booked on a flight out that morning...TOLD THEM IT WAS BOOKED LAST NIGHT...well no it wasn't...so after one hour standing in line while these lying ###holes tried to fix it...they finally had to call headquaters..make a long story short it was 26 HRS. OF HELL ON EARTH...FROM NOT HAVING MY MEDS ON TIME MY FEET ARE SWOLLEN AND IS DIFFICULT TO WALK..DO NOT FLY DELTA AIRLINES..I CALLED AND ASK FOR MY POINTS TO BE RETURNED AND YOU KNOW THE ANSWER..THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT TO BE TRUSSED...IF YOU WANT THE WHOLE STORY JUST CALL ME AND I WILL TELL IT TO YOU...THIS AIRLINE NEEDS TO TAKEN DOWN A PEG..DO NOT CALL AFTER 8PM MICHIGAN TIME...734-536-4060...
